The Opportunity
Delaware North is hiring a Pricing Analyst to join our Enterprise Analytics team in Buffalo, New York. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing resources to collect market baskets and creating pricing proposals for airport clients. You will support our Travel and Hospitality subsidiary in its endeavor to offer prices to our guests that reflect the local market.
Pay
Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $58458 - $76800 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to assess competitor pricing, consumer trends, and local economic conditions at different airports
- Work with a third-party shopping service to coordinate resources and timing of market basket shopping for the proper and cost-effective collection of accurate data
- Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to define and execute a timeline for market basket shops
- Influence leadership to adopt best practices in comparative item collection, submission to clients, and implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative or project management roles
- Experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with market-based pricing schemes
