Position: Front-End Web Developer
Location: Houston, TX (In-Office)
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

We are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to join our growing team in Houston, TX. Most of the sites we manage are a blend that uses WordPress and static HTML pages. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JS), who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience building high-performance websites and a passion for user experience, design, and development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance websites with a focus on clean, scalable, and efficient code using HTML , CSS , and JavaScript (JS) .
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to bring concepts to life with attention to detail and functionality.
• Ensure best practices in web development are followed, prioritizing usability, speed, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance website performance and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to implement cutting-edge solutions.

Proficiency and/or Familiarity with:

• JavaScript (JS) & jQuery
• SQL
• XML Schemas
• APIs
• AWS
• Git version control
• Figma for wireframes/prototypes

Important Information: This is an in-office position based in Houston, TX .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in front-end web development with a focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like jQuery .
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality across all tasks.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and bringing innovative ideas to the table.
