Join Our Elite Team as a Directional Drill Operator in Fowler, California

$25 - $35 hourly

• Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment to accurately install underground utilities, pipelines, and infrastructure components
• Interpret and implement drilling plans, blueprints, and specifications for precise and efficient installations
• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reduce downtime
• Follow established safety protocols to uphold a secure work environment for all team members in Fowler, California
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet project objectives
• Monitor drilling progress closely, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency in Fowler, California
• Record and report drilling activities, including progress, challenges, and equipment upkeep
• Keep the work area clean and organized to promote a safe environment for all team members in Fowler, California
• Adapt to changing job site requirements and undertake additional tasks as needed
• Mix mud to correct viscosity and have knowledge of necessary additives based on ground conditions in Fowler, California

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Directional Driller, preferably in the underground utilities or pipeline industry
• Proficient in operating horizontal directional drilling equipment and related tools
• Strong understanding of drilling procedures, safety protocols, and industry best practices
• Ability to read and interpret drilling plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well with others
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
